Upgrade #1:   This is why Jupiter/Emco Tech offers a LIFE-TIME Warranty on their ionizers.  The Electrolysis Chamber (or water cell) is the heart of all Jupiter ionizers. It is essential that the water cell allow water to pass during ionization. However, unless there is an automatic cleaning cycle in the ionizer, water can leave deposits in the electrolysis chamber and eventually lower its transfer efficiency. Emco Tech uses a proprietary matting between the Venus model cell electrodes.  This new matting is extremely resistant to mineral deposits such as lime, iron, and other minerals. These damaging minerals are "sloughed off" keeping the electrolysis chamber functioning properly for a longer period of time.

Additionally, the inner structure of the Venus water cell also creates an excellent acid from alkaline water separation. This enhanced segregation between alkaline and acid water results in efficient ionization as well as better isolation of any remaining chlorine or fluoride. This combination of efficient draining, improved matting, and revised inner structure enables the Venus to operate very efficiently on only one cleaning cycle of 10 seconds per every 20 liters.

Upgrade #3:  Flow Control Knob - Until the upgrade, this feature was only available on the more expensive Jupiter ionizers. It is important to be able to control the flow of water through your ionizer because it affects the strength of the alkaline water and the -ORP level. Logically, the slower the water flow, the more time the water has to be altered by the ionization process. The control knob helps to fine tune your preferred pH level so the exact same pH level is dispensed every time you use your Venus Ionizer.

Upgrade #4:  Your Jupiter Venus comes with the same .1M Biostone filter that is included with the other top Jupiter models.  However, when you are ready for your replacement filter, you have the option of purchasing the .01M Biostone replacement filter - the finest domestic filter available, or the new Biostone-Plus filter that removes 99% of Chlorine and Chloramines from chemically treated city water.
Emco Tech (a Jupiter related company) has made replacing the Biostone filter so much easier with the Venus. One simply opens the filter compartment door, pushes the filter down on its spring loaded pedestal, and pulls the old filter out. New filter installation is literally a "SNAP".
