This new Sediment Filter is only for use in the Jupiter Athena water Ionizer. The improved sediment removal filter is 1 Micro, fiber filled, and designed to remove particles 5 times smaller than the original .1M Biostone filter. The sediment filter occupies position #1 in your Athena (inside the left filter housing door).
The second filter in the Athena ionizer (sold separately), the .1M Biostone filter contains layers of Tourmaline and Coral Calcium inside an anti-bacterial carbon block filter. This quality filter is unique to Jupiter Science and will help to naturally ionize and clean the water, before the water enters the ionization chamber. Suggested replacement every 9 to 12 months depending on use, and is used in the Delphi, Athena, Melody and Venus models.
