Filter works with well or tap water that is high in nitrates, removing 90-95% of contaminants. The filter housing is available for both counter top and undersink ionizers. It is generally recommended that the filter should be replaced once per year (NCR filter cartridge $48.00). The Undersink installation is the same as the Counter Top installation, except you mount the filter under the sink upside down. Media in this pre-filter cartridge is a strong base anion exchange resin supplied in the chloride form as moist, tough, uniform spherical beads. It is especially useful in nitrate removal applications due to its ability to remove nitrates in the presence of sulfates and other divalent ions.

It is also intended for use in applications involving monovalent and divalent ions where monovalent ions must be removed preferentially, such as removing perchlorates from ground water.

The resin has highest operating capacity of any Nitrate selective resin low pressure drop while maintaining superior kinetics. (Manufactured in USA)

Filter Cartridge is of standard size 10"x2.5", and can be installed in many under-sink and countertop systems.
