With the Rhino® EQ-300 Whole House Water Filtration System, you can enjoy bottled water quality throughout your entire home, in your showers, sinks, bathtubs, washing machines, and dishwashers for about 50¢ a day! The Rhino® Central Filtration System is designed to be virtually maintenance free for 3 full years. No costly service calls or agreements, just replace the main filter unit once every 3 years. Effectively filters out chlorine and bad taste and odor from municipally treated tap water as it enters your home. This multistage filtration process directs the water through 3 stages of filtration for optimum quality and performance. Each Rhino EQ-300 system comes complete with an installation kit, ball valve and pre-filter for easy service installation.
The Rhino EQ-300 main filter unit has a certified capacity of 300,000 gallons at 7 gpm. The main filter section should be replaced every 3 years (Item #EQ-300R, Cost $799.99) and the sediment pre-filter as needed, every 3-6 months (Item #EQ-304, Cost $19.95).
This filtration unit should be installed by a licensed plumber to insure proper installation. Normal installation is 1-3 hours.
*IMPORTANT: Do not use where water is microbiologically unsafe or with water of unknown quality without proper disinfection before or after the filter system.
Manufacturers Warranty; This product is warranted for 1 full year from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. This unit must be installed by a licensed plumber to validate this warranty. Proof of purchase date and installation by a licensed plumber must accompany any warranty claim.
This warranty does not cover; · Clogging, as replacement of the pre-filter cartridge is the user’s responsibility. · Damages caused by improper installation or use on non-potable water supplies. · Labor to install or replace filters. · Liability for indirect or consequential damages. · Damage caused by fire, flood or acts of God.
This warranty gives you certain legal rights. You may also have additional rights which vary by state. This warranty is to be in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied. Including the warranties merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Here's how it works:
Stage 1
The sediment pre-filter uses a replaceable 5 micron cartridge that mechanically filters down
to five microns. This important first stage filters out the sediment that may be in the
water supply so that it doesn't clog the main filter and reduce water flow and/or filter life.
Stage 2
A natural media blend of zinc and copper where granules are fused together by the process
of water atomization. This combination creates an active filtration method, possessing
a characteristic known as redox potential. This process effectively reduces chlorine in tap water.
Stage 3
Uses a high grade of granular activated carbon (GAC) for further reduction of chlorine taste and odor.
